環(huán)己烷別名六氫化苯，為無(wú)色有刺激性氣味的液體。不溶于水，溶于多數(shù)有機(jī)溶劑。極易燃燒。一般用作一般溶劑、色譜分析標(biāo)準(zhǔn)物質(zhì)及用于有機(jī)合成，可在樹(shù)脂、涂料、脂肪、石蠟油類(lèi)中應(yīng)用，還可制備環(huán)己醇和環(huán)己酮等有機(jī)物。
